Tannenbaum

Right after the wedding, we went to Tannenbaum on Greers Ferry Lake with all of the Haugen family. The Haugen family includes Nathan's mom and her 2 brothers and their families. There were 29 of us, divided into 3 houses. We had such a great time spending time with each other after the wedding. It's such a great idea to have a family reunion after the wedding, because you can only talk so much during the wedding festivities. And, the last time everyone got together was after our wedding, so we got to join in the fun this time.

The kids & adults all had a blast playing in the lake, riding in the boat, playing ping-pong, playing softball on the air-strip, and playing the bowl game. The Haugens are full of many passionate extraverts, so it was always lively, never dull with everyone around.

We don't have any pictures on the boat because the water was so high, we had to anchor the boat out and swim out to get on it. It was pretty funny.

We stayed with Phil, Judi, Allison, Travis & Genevieve {the Chicago Haugens} in a house. Andrew had quite a fascination with Genevieve, who just turned 1 year. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know everyone better and look forward to the next Haugen reunion.
