SNOW day!

Woo hoo! We finally got a decent amount of snow. For those of you reading this who live in the north, the amount of snow we got might seem small, but it was a huge amount being in the south. We got around 6 inches!! We all bundled up and enjoyed being outside. Hunter and daddy went sledding, while Andrew and mommy chatted with neighbors. Now that it has snowed one time, I'm ready for spring!

Jump Jump!

On Friday we went to Pump it Up to get a little energy out before we were stuck in the house due to the snow. Hunter had a blast. We were basically the only people there and had all of the inflatables by ourselves. It was also a great workout for Nathan and I.
Andrew even got in on a little action!

Curious George

I must begin this saying that Hunter loves, i mean LOVES Curious George. On Saturday, Curious George was coming to a kids toy store. I have been looking forward to this for weeks! I thought Hunter would love to see a big, huge to him, George.

My first clue that he wouldn't love George was when we were at Chick-fil-A and he was afraid of the cow. He has this love-hate. We went and ate our lunch and the whole time he would not stop looking or talking about the cow and he finally went to go see him.

We got to the store early to see CG and Hunter decides to walk in front of all the kids to get on a phone that they had up front. Clearly he is not afraid of being in front of a crowd. The next minute he couldn't see me (think many many kids and their parents in a tiny store) and started crying. He doesn't do this. Then when CG came out, he wanted me to hold him. He found a play snake in the store and decided to walk up front and show George. See love-hate. Thankfully he didn't make it all the way up front. I had to sit on the floor and hold him with me. Did I mention that Nathan was out of town and I am doing this by myself while holding a 3 month old who want to move. Yeah, I won't be doing this again any time soon.

So time to take a picture with George. I had this great image of Hunter smiling big with G. We could hang it on the fridge or he could put it in his photo book that he carries around. But not so fast mom. "Hunter, do you want to go sit on George's lap?" NO!!-along with many tears. I thought that he might actually go near him because his friends were with him. He would have nothing to do with him. Finally, while I was holding him, he gave George a high five.

So much for a great picture with George. This is just a tiny glimpse of how I have a picture of things and how they don't turn out quite as intended.

the park

We went to the park this weekend since the weather was FINALLY nice! Everyone enjoyed the fresh air and time outside. Hunter loved sliding down the slides and enjoyed swinging. Andrew is so happy. Now, if he will just go to bed earlier!! Starbucks enjoyed running freely while chasing his ball (a rare event these days).

Sad news

What a week. Things are going well in our house (minus colds for the boys-not complaining), but outside our house things are hard. I have a heavy heart and I ask you for prayer. Not only is the devestation in Haiti tragic, but one of our friends, Bo, found out that she has a brain tumor. To say I can't imagine what they are going through is an understatement. We have so much to be thankful for. Please pray for Bo, her husband Michael, and their 3 boys. 3 boys-she is already my hero, but now even more so going through this.

Bo is to the left of me, directly in the center.

3 months

Andrew is 3 months today! My little one is full of joy and smiles. His smile melts my heart and his laugh is contagious! He is a happy baby until 9 at night. Then his stomach starts hurting and he doesn't fall asleep until 10:30 or 11. The past few nights have been a little better (he doesn't seem to be as uncomfortable, still up though), so I'm hopeful that this will pass soon. Hunter's stomach (minus the dairy issue) magically was better at 15 weeks.
He has been rolling over (tummy to back) for several weeks. He hates not being able to see what is going on. If you are holding him, he better be held upright and facing out. He's ready to chase after his big brother.
At his last appt he was 75% for height and weight.

Go Razorbacks!

The Arkansas vs ECU bowl game wasn't without embarrasing moments on both sides, but somehow we pulled out with a W. The best part of the night was hearing Hunter say "Go Razorbacks"!
