Frankie's

Last night we went to Frankie's Fun Park with the Radke's. Frankie's is like Chuck E Cheese on steroids. They have 3 go-carts tracks, 3 putt-putt courses, bumper boats, and so many arcade games. Hunter and Kai were loving life. Hunter kept squealing, loved looking at all the lights and quickly figured out that he liked tickets. Kai was so excited, he kept pushing buttons and just running around in circles. Nathan and Sean have had a stressful week, make that a few weeks, at work, so they needed to relieve a bit of stress. They rode on the slick-track go carts. I tried to convince Lisa to get on the mini roller coaster to induce labor. If she hasn't had the baby by next week, we might be taking a trip back there to encourage Ian to join us.

Welcome Will

Our friends and neighbors, The Markles, had their baby - Will Kenan. We watched Finley when they went to the hospital. Since Hunter and I had colds, we stayed away, but today we went across the street for a little visit. Will is so cute and looks like Fin when he was a baby. Hunter wanted to take the blanket off of Will and wanted his mommy when I was holding the baby. Congrats!

Michael's Christmas present to us was dinner to PF Chang's and babysitting. Greatest gift! Hunter loves his Michael. When he walked in the door, Hunter had the biggest grin on his face. They had a great time, and Michael took video, lots of video, to prove this. Thank you for being a great uncle and loving Hunter so well.

Girl's Night Out!

We had a great, much needed girls night. We celebrated Lisa and little Ian who is expected to arrive anyday now. Thanks for a great night and wonderful conversation.

let it snow!

Yeah for snow! We have been waiting for snow since we moved here. It snowed 4 inches!! Hunter did not know what to think of the snow. I don't think he enjoyed being all bundled up. Starbucks on the other hand loved the snow. I enjoyed staying home all day. Now that it has snowed, I think I'm ready for winter to be over.

cozy.

Even though it was pretty chilly outside when we took these pics, I think he looks so cozy in his thick sweater and hat. cozy is a word that I use often. I love to feel cozy. Sometimes I ask Hunter if he wants to get cozy and read a book, but usually his preference is to get down and run around. That's a 13 month old boy for you!

Scholl Christmas

We had a fabulous time visiting Nathan's family. For those of you who do not know, the Scholls celebrate their Sweedish heritage on Christmas Eve with a Sweedish Smorgasboard. This was Hunter's first year, and he was in love with the Sweedish meatballs (Thanks Mimi). Hunter was well loved. We even survived being stuck in the Chicago airport for 8 hours. :)
We miss you guys already!

Christmas with the Wilson's

I guess better late than never. We celebrated Christmas with my family before we left for Little Rock. We had a wonderful time. The pictures can not even begin to portray how excited Hunter was!

Happy 2009!

Happy New Year! We are back from Little Rock. I will post Christmas pictures soon. Hunter has been feeling a bit under the weather. He is now on meds, so hopefully he'll be feeling well soon. Even when he is sick, he still smiles all the time. He is walking and thus keeping us busy. It's been quite a treat to have grandparents, aunts & uncles and cousins around to play with him. I think Hunter might so into withdrawl next week when it's just the two of us.
