Growing up - sitting!

Where does the time go? He's supposed to be my baby cuddled in my arms? It's funny how I want the "milestones" to go a little slower the second time around.

Growing up -solids!

About 2 weeks ago, Andrew started eating solids. This was earlier than I introduced solids with Hunter. After all, why start the time consuming, mess making ordeal earlier than needed-right? Well, Andrew has been reaching and grabbing our food for awhile and being quite the chunk that he is, I thought he might enjoy the extra calories. He definately enjoys eating. Now when he sits in the high-chair he expects the spoon to be in his mouth instantly.

Marbles

We went to Marbles last August and then again last weekend. It's so fun to see how Hunter has changed and to watch how he plays with the different toys. Andrew enjoyed hanging out in the Moby.

5 months

What a joy it is to have Andrew in our family. He is full of smiles and laughter. He is pretty easy going and lets you know if he is hungry or tired. He loves having toys in his hand - thus his big brother is continuing to learn the art of sharing. Thankfully, Andrew's stomach seems to have calmed down. He goes to bed with Hunter now which makes his mommy and daddy so happy.

I think there is a good chance that his big blue eyes are going to stay.

At his last check-up he was 75% for height and weight. He is quite a chunk!

Arrr pirrrate

Hunter has to wear a patch right now over his eye for a couple of hours a day. This is to make one of his eyes stronger. His patches come in five fun patterns which make it a tiny bit easier to convince him to wear it. I think the lollipop does more convincing than the fun patterns.
