8 months
A few things to remember this month:
She had Roseola. This is the first time that I have seen her unhappy and unable to smile at anyone. She was a pitiful girl for several days.
She loooves food. I have made a variety of mixed purees for her and she likes to eat them all.
She is scooting to get something she wants. She isn't crawling, but can move across the floor. (NO! I'm not ready for her to be on the move.)
She knows who is holding her and she wants it to be mommy or daddy. At church, Linden goes quite hesitantly into the nursery and then she can't hear my voice in the hallway. I have such a love-hate with this stage. I love that my baby knows that I am her mommy and she desires to be with me. I hate the fact that tears often accompany this stage when I do have to leave her.

we love our granny!
We were in Durham a few weeks ago and got to visit with Granny. Granny has a had quite a rough patch lately and it was good for her soul to see her great-grandchildren. It was a necessity for my soul to see her. One thing that I knew would be so hard when leaving Durham was leaving her. I knew my parents and brother would drive here so I would see them a lot more. Our visits now are so sweet and I'm so thankful for our visit with our great-Granny.
snow!
One benefit of living near the mountains, is that we are getting much more snow than in NC. It often doesn't accumulate, or it's just a dusting, but it's always beautiful. The boys will look outside, see the snow and show little excitement. That's how I know we are getting more. Hunter loves the snow and wants to sled down the giant hill. Andrew enjoys playing in the snow for a couple of minutes, but the boy hates being cold.
7 months
Precious Linden continues to be so happy and a smiling baby. She is rocking on all fours and likes to do push-ups. She is enjoying a variety of fruits, veggies, and puffs!
