Bapa playing Nimble-Namble with his boys.
Mimi and Bapa were already here when we arrived. They were a huge help unpacking our boxes the first week. Our house wouldn't have looked so good so fast if it wasn't for them. It's amazing how fast you can feel settled when the boxes start getting piled outside and are out of the house.
One morning they took the boys to a drive-thru safari park. It's amazing how close you can get to the animals. The animals come eat the food out of the buckets you hold. Unfortunately we don't have many pictures from their visit. Good thing they are coming back soon!

Train ride
The week before we left Durham we decided to take a break from the insanity of packing up and moving. We have been wanting to take the kids on a train ride and wanted to do it before we left. We rode the train from Durham to Raleigh which was the perfect time- no more than 30 minutes. We then got on a bus and rode around downtown. The boys were thrilled with bus ride.
After a delicious lunch we walked to Marbles kids museum. We haven't been to that museum in a while and they both loved it. As you can see from above, they were completely worn out as we were making our way back to the train. What a fun way to end our time in NC!

Easter 2012
Easter was our first Sunday being together here as a family. The boys' Easter baskets were hidden in different rooms so they enjoyed the thrill of finding where they were. We were invited to have Easter lunch with our new friends, The Pearsons. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and the kids loved having an Easter egg hunt.
He is risen. He is risen indeed.
Looks like we made it!
So I can remember later and laugh about it one day:
I'll mark moving day down as one of the top 5 worst days of my life. Granted, I cry easier b/c I'm pregnant, but I had no idea so many tears could flow in one day. The movers got to our house early and I left with the kids so we wouldn't be in their way. I went to Target one last time of course. After that, it was just bad. I said good-bye to our home which we so dearly loved. I brought both the boys home from the hospital there and have amazing memories our our old house. I then drove to Virginia with the boys and Nathan stayed behind with the movers. Thank you Lord for the car DVD player- for the first time on a trip I had no limits on tv watching. I got stuck in traffic, had a few detours and the trip took 2 hours longer than it should have. I finally stopped crying when I was so mad that the trip was never-ending. We finally arrived and Nathan's parents were already at the hotel which was such a great distraction. Nathan arrived and we were so tired- physically, mentally and emotionally. Around midnight, Andrew threw up nad proceeded to vomit the entire night- while we are all in a hotel room- so that meant both of us were up with him. Lovely. I'm just so glad that day is over. It's all been up-hill from here!
Moving out of the state 8 months pregnant with 2 young kids is beyond hard-it's ridiculous. The easy part has been unpacking and getting settled here. Getting our house ready to put on the market, keeping a perfect house, 20 showings, packing up- CRAZY!! I haven't been having so many contractions so I'm hopeful that I've slowed down enough and my stress level is back to a normal level.
