Big baby, big baby, big baby...

oh yeah, big baby. (Ok, do you remember Big Booty from camp. Oh, the memories.)
So I had an ultrasound yesterday to check my placenta. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture because our little boy is an active boy and wouldn't be still for a quick photo. We are so thankful that everything looks healthy! What a blessing. The one thing that we did find out yesterday is that yes indeed, I am carrying a big baby. I should have known since many people have felt the need to comment on how big my stomach is. I have gotten everything-Are you sure you are only carrying one? Bless your heart, you have until October? Now I have an answer for everyone. Our boy is over the 97%! Yes, big doesn't describe it, how about huge. Babies in the 29th week weigh approximately 2 1/2 lbs and our munchkin weighs 3 lbs 14 oz. So, I will have another u/s at 37 weeks to determine his size. Thanks for praying for our son, we can't wait to meet him!

30.

Happy Birthday Michael!
Well, I entered my 30's last week. I can't say that I feel any different. Hunter and I were feeling a bit under the weather on my birthday, but after a trip to his ped, and a good nap, it turned out to be a good day. We celebrated with my family on Friday night because Michael's birthday is the day after mine. Happy Birthday Michael! We enjoyed a great meal and delicious chocolate pie. I am going to spread out my birthday celebrations by having a party in August with a close friend who is turning 30 in September. When I look at my life, I feel so blessed to have a wonderful husband, the cutest little boy and another one on the way.

Sunrays & Saturdays

Annie (boy-Levi, due 9/24) Me (boy-10/14) Jordan (girl-Aldrie, due 9/1)

Last Saturday, I went to Wilmington to celebrate Annie's new little arrival-Levi. It was such a great time to spend with the girls. Brooke, Annie and I even got to take in some sun at the ocean. There is something about the ocean, especially WB that does my soul good. Love you girls!!

19 months

19 months and a new hair-cut. I shed a few tears when we gave him a hair-cut the other night. I had NO idea it was going to be so stinking short. It looks adorable and he looks so much older. I still like his hair a bit longer. Thankfully, his hair grows quick.

One thing that is so fun to watch is Hunter's mind and imagination work. I can tell he is really thinking through things. This morning, for instance, he set up a little maze to walk through with a few toys and his cup. He was trying to walk through without knocking anything down. Another character trait that I have seen a lot of lately his persistence. Yes, let's call it persistence for know and not stubborness. The boy does not give up easily.
I'm honored to watch him go from a baby to a big boy!

Welcome Natalie!

There is finally a GIRL among all of the boys. Natalie is just beautiful. I can't wait to see how she handles all of the boys. Congrats to the Albee family!

July 4th

We spent the fourth of July with the Radke's. We just arrived back from an exhausting week in Atlanta and had a laid back time with them. Since we drove to Georgia, we stopped in SC and picked up some fireworks. We are saving them for a date in the near future with our neighbors.

Away-

I am going to work on getting this pics to look correct. They are from my brother's camera.

Nathan and I were away from Durham in Atlanta for a church conference. We left on Sunday and arrived back on Friday. Hunter was away from us and home and stayed with my parents. I have unfortunately been away from blogging for a little while. I have a bit of catching up to do.
A huge THANK YOU to my mom, dad and Michael for taking care of our sweet boy while we were gone. I know he was well taken care of and entertained. And thank you also for giving him back to us-I know it was hard.
