We went to Virginia Beach 2 weeks ago. Clearly, I'm a bit behind blogging- life is crazy, but whose isn't? Anyway, Nathan had General Assembly- our denominations (PCA) meeting of the year where all the pastors have a conference for a week. Lucky for us, it was Nathan's turn to go from our church and it was at the beach! The best part was Sean went to GA too, so Lisa and their kids got to come too.
We knew going into the trip that it would be a bit hectic since the guys would be in meetings the majority of the day and night. Thankfully, our hotel was on the beach. Our room overlooked the pool and the ocean-perfect! There was a baby pool and a regular pool, so the boys just switched back and forth between the two, which worked out quite well.
I don't have that many pictures because when there are 2 adults watching 5 kids around the pool and the beach- you aren't thinking too much about pictures. It was certainly tiring to watch these 4 active boys (Naomi was the perfect baby), but worth every second to be at the beach with a favorite family!
