Daddy.

Nathan's birthday was on Wednesday. We went to dinner on Tuesday and enjoyed one of his favorite types of food, German. It was, as always, marvelous to have a quiet, long dinner with himI cooked Mexican, his other favorite type of food, on Wednesday. He was a happy man!
I'm so thankful for him. Thankful that he helps and directs our boys. May they follow his lead to be a man of God.

Thankful for the laughter that he brings our family & many others. May we all follow his lead to be less serious and laugh more.

Thankful for his strength. May we follow his lead and rely on the strength of our Savior through hard times. Because of Nathan's job, he listens to many people who have deep pain and hurt in their life. It requires great strength to do this and be a rock for our family.

Thankful for his arms & hands. May we follow his lead and have hands filled with love and service for others.
Every night when he opens the door to come in, the boys run to the door and both want to climb in his arms. He puts his bag down and scoops them up. What joy!
