Easter egg hunt

no, it was not planned, just great taste

On Saturday before Easter, we went to the Cannada's river house. The Cannada's are great family friends of the Scholls and also Nathan and I were engaged at their house in Charlotte. We will also have a special place in our hearts for them.

The kids enjoyed the Easter egg hunt and Hunter was quite excited when he realized there was candy in the eggs. One of my favorite things was when the older girls got $1 in an egg. H loves dollars and he wanted one very badly. He sticks it in his pocket just like dad. The first time I asked him where he wanted to go spend it he quickly replied "Target" (that's my boy!). I asked him what he wanted at Target- "bike like daddy's".

And...no one probably cares about this, but I am SO fascinated by it. There are black panthers that live near there house by the river. Seriously? Black panthers? I mean, yes, it's in the country, deep deep in the country, but still, I'm amazed. Thankfully, we didn't see one!
